It added that Cairo stands fully alongside the kingdom in facing any threats to its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity. The statement further stressed that Saudi Arabia’s security remains inseparable from Egypt’s own as a pillar of their bilateral ties.
The Saudi-led coalition reported that the attacks wounded at least 73 people, including women and children. Coalition spokesman Major General Turki Al-Malki characterized the strikes as a dangerous escalation that violates the kingdom’s sovereignty, according to details included in the Egyptian ministry’s response.
