A Skyro press release distributed via Media OutReach Newswire outlined the launch of SkyroCredit as a reusable revolving digital credit line that gives approved customers access to a fixed limit through the company’s mobile application. Users activate the credit by scanning QR Ph codes at merchant locations rather than relying on physical cards or traditional card networks. The announcement noted that QR Ph is accepted at more than 90 percent of merchant outlets nationwide, enabling instant use for everyday transactions once a customer is approved.

The pilot phase drew more than 100,000 participants who employed the credit for purchases including groceries, medicines, fuel and dining, according to the company’s statement. Initial credit limits range from 1,000 to 10,000 Philippine pesos with the possibility of increasing to as much as 100,000 pesos based on responsible usage patterns. Purchases incur zero interest for up to 45 days and earn 1 percent cashback that can be redeemed within the app, the release added.

Nasim Aliev, Skyro co-founder, said in the statement, “Our goal is to provide access to affordable credit for underserved communities across Southeast Asia at a time when everyday expenses continue to rise and consumers’ financial priorities are evolving. Today’s consumers need financial solutions built around real-life spending needs and changing financial priorities. With SkyroCredit, we bring flexible financial solutions to our customers’ fingertips. The credit line offers all the benefits of flexibility, including an interest-free grace period. This provides customers with maximum convenience for everyday use while even allowing them to save money through cashback.”

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas data shows only half of Filipino adults maintain a formal financial account, underscoring the scale of the inclusion gap that SkyroCredit seeks to address. The central bank’s figures highlight how expanding QR-based payment infrastructure across the region creates an opening for digital credit products that align with rising consumer demand. Skyro’s approach leverages that network to deliver credit without requiring customers to reapply after each use.

Skyro has grown to more than one million active customers in the Philippines within three years while building a credit portfolio that exceeds 200 million dollars, the company stated. Its model relies on proprietary data science, artificial intelligence for credit decisions and alternative data scoring to reach underserved segments at scale. The fintech group maintains a modular architecture that supports mobile-native experiences tailored to emerging markets.

The announcement indicated Skyro is exploring opportunities in additional Southeast Asian countries as part of a broader strategy to establish itself as a leading full-spectrum financial services provider across multiple emerging markets worldwide. This regional focus builds on the Philippine rollout by targeting similar financial exclusion challenges where QR payment systems are gaining traction. The company positioned the reusable credit line as a tool for sustained customer engagement rather than one-time loans.
