The Palestinian presidency issued a statement on July 12, 2026 that expressed condemnation and rejection of Iranian attacks on the sovereignty, security and stability of several Arab states. The statement listed the targeted countries as Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Jordan, according to the text carried by official Palestinian channels. It framed the Iranian actions as aimed at undermining the security and stability of sisterly Arab nations, a position that aligns with broader regional diplomatic responses.

A Palestinian presidency assessment found that the attacks required unified Arab solidarity, and the statement affirmed Palestine’s full support for the targeted states in confronting the aggression. The presidency stressed complete backing for policies and measures taken by those Arab governments to protect their peoples, preserve security and safeguard sovereignty. It renewed a call for dialogue as the basis for resolving regional problems in line with international law, the statement indicated.

The official WAFA news agency published the full Palestinian position from Ramallah, which described the Iranian moves as incompatible with principles of good neighborliness among states. WAFA has served for decades as the primary outlet for such official Palestinian statements on regional crises. The July 12 declaration echoes earlier Palestinian condemnations of similar incidents throughout 2026.

Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the same Iranian attacks, with its foreign ministry terming them a blatant violation of sovereignty and a breach of UN Security Council Resolution 2817, according to an Al Arabiya report. The kingdom rejected any continuation of threats to regional stability and emphasized respect for international resolutions. This Saudi stance, issued days before the Palestinian statement, forms part of a widening Arab consensus against the aggressions.

Palestine welcomed UN Security Council Resolution 2817 that condemned Iranian attacks on GCC countries and Jordan, a report from the Qatar News Agency noted in March 2026. The resolution demanded an immediate halt to all such strikes across the region. Palestinian officials have repeatedly urged adherence to such international frameworks when addressing threats to Arab states.

The Iranian actions reportedly involved strikes on targets linked to the listed nations, including incidents affecting maritime and border security that prompted coordinated diplomatic pushback. Jordan faced particular exposure in the reported assaults, leading to joint statements from multiple Arab foreign ministries. The Palestinian declaration adds an official voice from Ramallah to these efforts aimed at de-escalation and stability.
