Kuwait’s Fire Force contained a fire at a residential complex in the Capital governorate on September 2 after the site sustained a strike from a hostile drone. According to the Kuwait News Agency, spokesman Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Gharib described the incident as resulting from Iranian aggression. Firefighting teams from the Al-Hilali and Al-Madina stations arrived at the scene shortly after the blaze began and worked to bring it under control without delay.
The Kuwait Fire Force said in a statement that crews initiated operations immediately upon notification of the drone impact. Al-Gharib highlighted the efficiency of the response in preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent areas of the complex. KUNA figures relayed by the spokesman placed the human impact at zero injuries among any individuals present at the residential site.
