Jazeera Airways is Kuwait’s leading low-cost carrier, established in 2004 as the first privately owned airline in the Middle East. The airline has developed a network reaching nearly 70 destinations across the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Africa and Europe. This reach supports expanded access for passengers while aligning with Kuwait’s growing importance in Gulf aviation.

The carrier maintains a modern fleet of Airbus A320ceo and A320neo aircraft. Jazeera Airways became the first airline in the region to introduce the A320neo in 2018, reinforcing its focus on efficiency, sustainability and modern fleet development. Delivery of additional aircraft, including A320neo and A321neo models, is scheduled to begin from 2027 onwards.

Jazeera Airways operates from its dedicated Terminal 5 at Kuwait International Airport, giving the airline greater control over the customer journey and helping deliver a smoother travel experience. Its customer-first approach, combined with an emphasis on innovation, supports its operations as a listed company on Boursa Kuwait and a member of the International Air Transport Association.

Recent route activity, including the return of flights to Aleppo and increased Damascus services, highlights Jazeera Airways’ focus on restoring regional connectivity. These routes support travel for families, business passengers and communities with strong cultural and commercial ties across the region.

Jazeera Airways chief executive Barathan Pasupathi has outlined ambitions to reach 10 million annual passengers by 2030 while preparing for further regional growth. The airline’s expansion strategy positions low-cost travel as an important driver of economic links, tourism and mobility across the Middle East.

The company’s growth trajectory builds on its all-Airbus fleet strategy and continued investment in next-generation aircraft. These developments support improved performance, increased capacity and long-term operational efficiency as passenger demand continues to rise.

Jazeera Airways continues to focus on value-driven services that connect families, businesses and opportunities across its network. Its expansion plans from 2027 onwards are expected to accommodate rising passenger volumes while maintaining reliability and affordability. The carrier’s Kuwait hub reinforces the country’s role in supporting broader international access through low-cost air links.
