CyCraft Technology announced on Dec. 17, 2025 that Gartner had identified it as a sample vendor in preemptive exposure management and unified exposure management solutions. The company said in a statement that its External Attack Surface Management platform and XecGuard LLM firewall integrate artificial intelligence to help organizations transition from traditional detect-and-respond models to proactive security governance. According to the announcement, this recognition as the only Taiwan-based cybersecurity provider in the report validates CyCraft’s focus on AI-driven tools that address emerging threats in complex digital environments. The firm noted its technologies support holistic visibility, risk assessment and automated remediation across attack surfaces.

The statement quoted a September 2025 Gartner report on the AI vendor race that highlighted how unified exposure management can replace fragmented point solutions through comprehensive telemetry. CyCraft described its EASM tool as one that automatically discovers external threats, correlates intelligence from surface web, dark web and public markets, and delivers tailored mitigation recommendations using a dedicated AI model. This approach, the company stated, automates attack path simulations and impact analysis to help clients in government, finance and semiconductor sectors prioritize actions effectively.

For AI model safety, the announcement pointed to XecGuard as an easily deployable guardrail that defends against prompt injection, jailbreaking and extraction attacks while maintaining performance levels. It referenced an October 2025 Gartner assessment on preemptive cybersecurity that stressed the need for predictive intelligence and preemptive action to counter AI-enabled threats before they escalate. CyCraft additionally promoted its XecArena platform, which lets users run multi-round adversarial tests to quantify LLM robustness against attempts to breach system prompts or leak information.

Dr. Benson Wu, CEO and Co-Founder of CyCraft Technology, said in the statement, “We believe, being acknowledged in these influential Gartner reports validates our strategic vision and technological innovation. We’ve consistently invested in AI-driven, preemptive capabilities that enable organizations to stay ahead of invisible threats.” The Taiwan-listed company with stock code 7823.TW has developed a product suite that includes AI red teaming tools, guardrail APIs for LLMs and agents, and the XCockpit platform combining EASM, internal attack surface management and endpoint protection. A separate Gartner press release issued the same day outlined leaders across nearly 30 AI technology areas, illustrating the rapid evolution of the sector.

Gartner reports from late 2025 have emphasized that modern environments require integrated platforms to manage exposure amid rising AI-related risks. The CyCraft announcement noted that the firm’s research contributions have also been received at conferences including NeurIPS and EMNLP, reinforcing its innovation trajectory. This positions the company within a competitive landscape where multiple vendors are advancing AI applications for security operations.

CyCraft is extending a limited evaluation program to 50 qualified enterprises that will receive two external exposure analysis reports each. Participants can use these assessments to quantify risks and establish data-driven remediation priorities, according to the statement. The initiative reflects broader industry efforts to demonstrate practical benefits of AI-enhanced tools as organizations seek to strengthen resilience against sophisticated threats.
