Saudi Tadawul Group on Feb. 26, 2026, opened applications for the sixth Saudi Capital Market Awards, honoring contributions to the kingdom’s financial sector that has grown to over SAR 10.5 trillion in market value per Vision 2030 data. Nominations close March 26 and winners will be named during the Capital Markets Forum in Riyadh from April 28-30, the group said in a statement.

The Saudi Tadawul Group said in a statement that the awards serve as a flagship initiative recognizing excellence, innovation and sustainable growth aligned with the Financial Sector Development Program and Saudi Vision 2030. The program celebrates company initiatives that advance the Saudi capital market and professional practices while introducing new categories to reflect the market’s increasing scale and diversity. Applications span more than 20 areas covering equity and debt capital markets, IPOs, asset management, brokerage, clearing, custody, investor relations, sustainability, research, derivatives and market infrastructure across both the Main Market and Nomu parallel market. The awards are organized in collaboration with CFA Society Saudi Arabia and the Middle East Investor Relations Association.

According to the statement, Eng. Khalid Al Hussan, chief executive officer of Saudi Tadawul Group, said, “The Saudi Capital Market Awards reflect the continued evolution of our market and its growing role in supporting economic diversification and developing the financial sector in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.” He added that this edition builds on momentum by recognizing entities that contribute to strengthening professional practices and advancing excellence and innovation. An independent judging panel of senior professionals and subject-matter experts from the partner organizations will conduct evaluations to ensure a transparent process aligned with international best practices.

The statement listed 2024 winners that included Rasan Information Technology as IPO of the Year on the Main Market and First Avenue Real Estate Development for the Nomu equivalent. Additional recipients featured Jadwa Investment as Asset Manager of the Year, Derayah Financial as Broker of the Year, SNB Capital for multiple categories including Investment Bank of the Year and Saudi Awwal Bank for large-cap sustainability. Saudi Arabian Oil Company received the Sultan AlDugaither Award for best investor relations in the large-cap segment above SAR 37.5 billion.

Saudi Tadawul Group was founded in 2021 and operates as a holding company with four subsidiaries including the Saudi Exchange, which ranks among the world’s 10 largest by market capitalization, the statement noted. The subsidiaries also comprise Muqassa for clearing, Edaa for depository services and WAMID for technology solutions. The group was formed to strengthen capital market infrastructure, draw foreign investments and aid economic diversification as part of Vision 2030.

A Vision 2030 sector overview indicated that the Capital Market Authority aims to raise the capital markets’ contribution to gross domestic product to approximately 110 percent by 2030 from around 80 percent in 2020. Saudi authorities additionally opened the financial market fully to all foreign investors from February 2026 without prior qualification requirements to enhance liquidity and global capital inflows. These steps complement the awards’ emphasis on fostering competitiveness and professional standards in the evolving market.

The Capital Markets Forum hosting the awards brings together decision-makers, investors, issuers and financial institutions to examine global trends and opportunities. The event seeks to build international connectivity and back sustainable growth in the financial sector. Submissions for the 2025 awards can be made through the Tadawul Group website.
