Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa delivered the warning during a meeting with a delegation from the German Parliament in Ramallah. He detailed how restrictions on aid have created critical shortages of medical supplies, fuel and food supplies throughout the Gaza Strip. Mustafa stressed the importance of ramping up global efforts and pressure to put the second phase of arrangements into effect along with UN Security Council Resolution 2803. The prime minister demanded an immediate start to recovery and reconstruction programs together with a halt to all Israeli measures in the West Bank.

Mustafa noted the Palestinian government’s work to restore basic services for residents despite severe limitations on available resources. Government crews have maintained health and education provisions while repairing damaged water networks and removing rubble from affected zones. He suggested these interventions require greater international determination to produce lasting impact. The visiting German delegation reaffirmed its country’s backing for the two-state solution and its consistent provision of humanitarian and relief support to the Palestinian people.

United Nations officials have warned that more than half a million people in Gaza remain trapped in famine conditions marked by widespread starvation and preventable deaths. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has documented repeated interruptions to aid deliveries that have left hospitals short of fuel and patients without essential medicines. These assessments align closely with the prime minister’s description of persistent crisis and relief blockages across the territory.

International evaluations have placed the cost of rebuilding Gaza in the tens of billions of dollars with housing, hospitals and water systems among the sectors sustaining the heaviest damage. Multilateral organisations have stated that reconstruction cannot proceed without reliable access for materials and workers into the enclave. Palestinian officials have maintained that removing current bottlenecks would speed the return of displaced families and the restoration of economic activity.

Mustafa cautioned against any exploitation of the Palestinian plight as a bargaining chip in Israeli electoral politics. He urged the international community to reject such approaches and concentrate instead on concrete steps that ease civilian suffering. The prime minister’s position echoes longstanding Palestinian calls that have featured in numerous diplomatic engagements in recent years.

The remarks come amid continued uncertainty over ceasefire implementation that has kept humanitarian operations in flux. German parliamentarians in the delegation expressed their government’s commitment to sustained humanitarian aid while endorsing the need for a clear political path toward two states. Both parties in the Ramallah meeting emphasised the requirement for coordinated pressure to resolve the current impasse before conditions worsen further.
