Kuwait Investment Company said its net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent for the third quarter came to 92,093 dinars. This represents a substantial reduction from 5.34 million dinars recorded in the third quarter of 2025. Operating revenues for the three-month period also declined notably from the year-ago level, the company reported.
The firm provided more comprehensive figures for the first nine months of the year. Net profit for the nine months ended September 30 stood at 5.25 million dinars compared with 15.53 million dinars in the prior year period. Total operating revenues reached 22.24 million dinars against 33.46 million dinars previously, according to the statement.
As of the end of the third quarter, total assets amounted to 347 million dinars while equity attributable to parent shareholders totaled 136 million dinars. The company said these levels affirm its capacity to sustain investment operations based on financial stability and effective resource management. Earnings per share for the nine-month period were 9.53 fils.
The company noted in its statement that financial and investment markets continue to experience fluctuations due to economic and geopolitical variables. It emphasised the need for persistent monitoring of these developments and their potential effects on asset classes and investment prospects. Kuwait Investment Company indicated it would keep prioritising performance efficiency amid the uncertain conditions.
Times Kuwait reported earlier that 64 Kuwaiti listed companies achieved a combined net profit of 970 million dinars in the second quarter of 2026. That outcome reflected a 90 percent rise from the corresponding quarter in 2025. The publication attributed the broader improvement to enhanced operational efficiency, sales recovery and prudent cost management despite regional tensions.
