Savills said in a statement that Greg Stockton will head international sales and distribution of UK residential investment opportunities across the GCC from its Dubai base. He will focus on linking UK developers with wealth managers, family offices, private banks, advisers and investors in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman. The appointment underscores Savills’ ongoing commitment to the region and seeks to deepen ties between its UK residential development operations and its established Middle East network, providing enhanced access to opportunities, research and advisory services.

Stockton brings more than two decades of experience spanning real estate, wealth management and financial services with a focus on international sales, business expansion, strategic partnerships and cross-border deals. He has lived and worked in multiple markets including the UAE, Qatar, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore and South Africa. Most recently he served as global head of property investment advisory and distribution at Global Residential, where he drove international growth for a UK property investment business and built distribution networks throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Steven Morgan, CEO Middle East at Savills, said the GCC continues to be an important source of international capital for UK residential real estate. Morgan added that Stockton’s appointment reflects the firm’s continued investment in strengthening connections between clients across the region and opportunities in the UK. He noted that Stockton’s extensive international experience and established relationships across investment and wealth management sectors will further strengthen capabilities in the Middle East while his Dubai base will provide an even closer link between GCC investors, advisers, family offices and UK residential teams through Savills’ global network.

International demand for UK residential investment remains strong, according to the company. Stockton said in the announcement, “International demand for UK residential investment remains strong, and Savills is uniquely positioned to connect investors with high-quality opportunities throughout the UK. The business has ambitious plans and I’m looking forward to playing a role in delivering them through working with colleagues across the Savills network and strengthening relationships with developers, wealth managers and investors, while continuing to expand our international distribution platform.” Jamie Adam, head of new development sales for the north and Scotland at Savills, added that the hire marks an important milestone for the residential development sales business and reflects continued investment in international markets.

Al Rayan Bank’s September 2025 GCC investor report found that 99 percent of respondents viewed the UK property market as attractive while 95 percent had invested in UK assets during the prior five years. The survey showed 29 percent planned to invest in or expand their UK property holdings over the next five years, with London consistently ranking as the leading location ahead of other global cities. Separate data from Nomo indicated that GCC searches for UK homes increased 16 percent in the first quarter of 2026, with the UAE still dominant at 47 percent but interest rising from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.

Savills’ half-year results for the period to June 2026 reported good revenue growth in the Middle East, supported by robust performance in Egypt and a strong start to the year in Dubai. The firm, which rebranded its regional business from Cluttons Middle East, now maintains offices across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and Egypt. This latest appointment builds on a series of senior hires that have expanded the company’s residential agency and investment capabilities throughout the GCC since 2024.
