The Saudi platform combines bookable storage, inventory software and transport, giving businesses a way to expand without operating every facility themselves.

Saudi logistics company Sirdab has raised $10 million to expand a model that lets businesses arrange warehousing and transport through a single platform. The Series A, announced on 3 September, was co-led by Elm and BECO Capital, according to the company’s funding announcement. Sirdab Blog

For companies entering another city, the practical question is how to put stock near customers while keeping track of it. Renting and running an entire warehouse is one option. Buying space and services from an existing operator is another. Sirdab’s proposition brings the second approach together with the software and transport needed to manage goods as they move.

Booking space by the pallet

Sirdab’s warehousing service allows businesses to book by the pallet or square metre, with monthly, six-monthly or annual terms. Its network offers dry, ambient, chilled and frozen storage, alongside fulfilment services that pick, pack and dispatch orders. The service also covers replenishing retail branches and distributing wholesale stock. Sirdab

The distinction matters for a business whose storage requirements change through the year. Rather than sizing its operation around a whole building, it can book capacity around the goods it needs to hold. That flexibility is central to the model: storage becomes a service a company can adjust, while order handling and distribution can sit alongside it.

Connecting the warehouse to the road

The transport side extends the service beyond finding somewhere to keep stock. Sirdab’s transport offering includes dry and temperature-controlled vehicles, from cargo vans to 40-ton trailers. The company lists services linking ports, warehouses and final destinations, with upfront pricing and live trip updates. Sirdab

For warehouse operators, its management software covers receiving stock, allocating storage locations, preparing outbound orders and billing customers. Operators can also list available space and book transport through the system. Taken together, these functions show why the business is more than a directory of available warehouses: its software supports the work that continues after a storage booking has been made. Sirdab

A larger network, with shared systems

Founded in 2022 by Naif Alzahri and Abdulrahman Alnamlah, Sirdab combines partner facilities with company-operated sites. Investor BECO Capital describes its approach as a hybrid model of warehousing and transport, rather than a business built solely around owning facilities. BECO Capital

In its September announcement, Sirdab reported a network of more than 120 warehouses and 60 transport providers. It said the new funding would support expansion across Saudi Arabia and the GCC, alongside technology that matches businesses with capacity and automates coordination between logistics providers. The operational logic is straightforward: adding a location should not mean losing sight of stock or rebuilding every process from scratch. Sirdab’s next stage is to extend the network while keeping those separate warehouses, transport providers and inventory records connected.
